Warren Platner sideboard is manufactured by Knoll International. The sideboard was designed by Warren Platner in 1973 in the United States. Warren Platner was known for his airy sculptural designs, with which he makes a great contrast with this design. This sideboard belongs to the executive collection of high-end furniture from Knoll International. You can tell that from everything, because the sideboard is extremely well made. The oak top has a leather top layer. The sideboard is supported by solid polished aluminium feet. This sideboard has 2 large drawers and 2 small drawers. The doors are equipped with a working lock with a matching key.
Platner was awarded the Rome Prize for Architecture in 1955. But he became particularly famous for the windows he designed for the Restaurant in the World Trade Center. Platner's Wire series is considered Platner's most iconic furniture design.
The condition of this sideboard is very good. The feet have been polished again to make them extra shiny. These are solid, so they are of very high quality. The top is also in good condition, but has natural signs of use, see pictures. The solid oak edge is also in very good condition.
